Tucked along one of the city’s canals, this is the kind of place where you can slow down, spend your days by the pool, wet a line out back, enjoy dinner outside, get out on the water, and settle into the Florida lifestyle for a while.

It is designed for families, boaters, and anglers looking for an easy Florida getaway. With a pool, dock access, and beach gear included, everything is set for a relaxed stay.

This comfortable, classic Florida home has plenty of room for families, fishing groups, and groups of up to 8, with 3 bedrooms, 6 beds, and 2 full bathrooms. Sleeping arrangements include two king beds, two Twin XL beds, and two twin beds, giving families and groups plenty of flexibility.

Inside, you’ll find comfortable living and dining spaces, high-speed Wi-Fi, TVs, a dedicated workspace, and a fully equipped kitchen for everything from morning coffee to family dinners. Whether you’re here for a Florida getaway, a fishing trip, visiting family, working remotely, or escaping the cold for a longer stay, the house is set up so you can unpack and make yourself at home.

Outside is really what Captain’s Retreat is all about. Step out back to your private patio and pool, fire up the grill for dinner, lounge in the Florida sunshine, or spend the afternoon floating in the pool. And if you’d rather have a fishing rod in your hand, you don’t have to go far — you can fish right from the canal behind the house.

We try to make packing easy, too. Fresh bed linens, bath towels, and pool towels are provided, along with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and everyday household and kitchen essentials. A Pack ’n Play is also available for families traveling with little ones.


And when it comes to enjoying Florida, we’ve tried to cover that gear, too. You’ll find two kayaks, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach toys, and coolers available for guest use — fewer things to pack and fewer things to buy once you arrive.

Important things to know:


Pool & waterfront safety —


This is a waterfront property with a private swimming pool and direct access to the canal. There are inherent risks associated with both the pool and waterfront. Children and anyone who is not a strong swimmer must be closely supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Guests are responsible for using the pool, waterfront areas, kayaks, and other recreational equipment safely and appropriately.


Boats & dockage — 

Guests interested in bringing a boat must contact us before arrival. Approximately 50 feet of dock is available on a sailboat canal with no bridges between the property and open water. Dockage is available only with prior approval and requires an additional fee. Canal depths, tides, vessel size, draft, electrical needs, and other conditions can affect whether a particular boat is suitable for the property. Guests are responsible for determining the safe navigation and suitability of their vessel.


Boat trailers & parking — 

Boat trailers may not be parked in the driveway or on the grass at the property. Please make arrangements for off-site trailer storage before arrival. Vehicles must remain in designated parking areas; parking or driving on the lawn is not permitted.
