These Terms & Conditions govern your use of www.SteelmanDestinations.com (the “Website”), your communications with us, and any travel-planning, advisory, booking, reservation, itinerary, concierge, or related services we provide (collectively, the “Services”).

By visiting or using the Website, requesting a quote, submitting information, paying an invoice or deposit, authorizing us to make travel arrangements, or otherwise engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or engage our Services.

Our Role

Steelman Destinations acts as an independent travel advisor and booking agent. We help clients research, plan, coordinate, and reserve travel services offered by independent third-party suppliers, which may include airlines, cruise lines, hotels, resorts, vacation-rental providers, tour operators, transportation companies, insurance providers, activity companies, and other travel vendors (“Suppliers”).

Unless specifically stated in writing, Steelman Destinations does not own, operate, control, or provide the travel services arranged through Suppliers. Your travel services are subject to the Supplier’s own terms, conditions, rules, payment requirements, cancellation policies, liability limitations, and other contractual terms.

Eligibility and Website Use

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding agreements to use the Website, request Services, or make travel arrangements through Steelman Destinations.

You agree to use the Website only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Use the Website in a way that damages, disrupts, overloads, or interferes with its operation.

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its systems, accounts, or data.

• Submit false, misleading, incomplete, or fraudulent information.

• Use content, logos, designs, photographs, or materials from the Website without written permission.

• Use the Website to make speculative, false, or fraudulent travel requests or reservations.

Quotes, Pricing, and Availability

Travel pricing, availability, schedules, accommodations, taxes, fees, exchange rates, promotions, and Supplier terms are subject to change at any time until a reservation is confirmed and payment has been accepted by the applicable Supplier.

A quote is not a confirmed reservation and does not guarantee price, availability, accommodations, transportation, itinerary components, or promotional offers. Prices may change due to Supplier changes, taxes, fuel charges, currency fluctuations, occupancy changes, or other factors outside our control.

​

You are responsible for reviewing all quotes, invoices, itineraries, confirmations, and travel documents for accuracy before payment and before departure. Notify us immediately of any error, including misspelled names, incorrect dates, passenger information, destinations, room types, flight details, or special requests.

Payments and Authorization

You agree to pay all amounts due by the deadlines shown in your quote, invoice, booking confirmation, or Supplier documentation.

By providing a payment method or authorizing payment, you confirm that you are authorized to use that method and authorize Steelman Destinations and/or the applicable Supplier to charge the agreed-upon amount, including applicable taxes, fees, deposits, service fees, change fees, cancellation fees, and other disclosed charges.

Deposits, planning fees, booking fees, consultation fees, and Supplier payments may be nonrefundable, in whole or in part. The exact refundability of each payment depends on the written terms provided for your specific booking and the applicable Supplier’s policies.

​

Failure to pay by a deadline may result in cancellation, loss of deposit, increased pricing, forfeiture of reservations, or other penalties imposed by the Supplier. Steelman Destinations is not responsible for any loss resulting from late, incomplete, declined, or unauthorized payment.

Cancellations, Changes, and Refunds

All cancellations, changes, and refund requests must be submitted to Steelman Destinations in writing at [Email Address].

Your booking may be subject to cancellation penalties, change fees, fare differences, administrative fees, Supplier fees, and nonrefundable deposits. Supplier policies control when a refund, credit, exchange, or rebooking option may be available.

Steelman Destinations may charge a separate service, cancellation, change, or rebooking fee, which will be disclosed in your planning agreement, quote, invoice, booking confirmation, or related written communication.

No refund is guaranteed unless it is permitted under the applicable Supplier’s terms and confirmed in writing. Refund processing times vary and may depend on Supplier procedures, payment processors, banks, credit-card issuers, and applicable law.

If a Supplier cancels or materially changes a booking, we will reasonably assist you in communicating with the Supplier and pursuing any remedy the Supplier makes available. However, Steelman Destinations cannot guarantee a refund, credit, alternate travel arrangement, or reimbursement for any amount the Supplier does not provide.

Travel Documents and Entry Requirements

You are solely responsible for ensuring that you and all travelers have the required documents for travel, including valid passports, visas, travel authorizations, identification, vaccination records, health certificates, parental-consent documents, and any other documents required by your destination, airline, cruise line, or other Supplier.

​

Passport, visa, entry, health, security, and transit requirements can change without notice. You should verify current requirements directly with the relevant government authorities, embassies, consulates, transportation providers, and travel Suppliers before booking and again before departure.

​

Steelman Destinations is not responsible if a traveler is denied boarding, denied entry, delayed, detained, quarantined, fined, or otherwise affected because the traveler lacks required documentation or fails to meet entry, health, identity, or security requirements.

​

Travel Risks and Insurance

Travel involves inherent risks, including the possibility of injury, illness, death, theft, property damage, loss of belongings, transportation delays, cancellations, weather events, natural disasters, civil unrest, terrorism, crime, supplier insolvency, political conditions, infectious disease, and other circumstances beyond our control.

You voluntarily assume these risks when you travel.

Travel insurance may help protect against certain covered losses, such as trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, lost baggage, and travel delays. We strongly encourage you to consider purchasing travel insurance and to carefully review the policy’s coverage, exclusions, limitations, pre-existing-condition provisions, deadlines, and claims procedures.

Steelman Destinations does not guarantee that any insurance policy will cover a particular loss or circumstance. Insurance coverage is subject to the insurer’s policy terms and claim determination.

Health, Safety, and Conduct

You are responsible for determining whether you are physically and medically able to participate in your planned travel activities. You should consult appropriate medical professionals regarding vaccinations, health precautions, medications, fitness, accessibility, and other individual needs before travel.

​

You agree to comply with all laws, rules, instructions, safety procedures, Supplier requirements, and local customs applicable to your travel. Suppliers may deny service, remove a traveler, or impose charges if a traveler engages in unsafe, disruptive, abusive, unlawful, intoxicated, or otherwise prohibited conduct.

​

Steelman Destinations is not responsible for decisions made by Suppliers, government authorities, transportation providers, property owners, or other third parties concerning a traveler’s conduct, health, safety, eligibility, or participation.

​

Third-Party Suppliers

Travel services are provided by independent Suppliers. Steelman Destinations is not responsible for the acts, omissions, negligence, defaults, representations, warranties, failures, cancellations, delays, injuries, losses, damages, bankruptcies, insolvencies, schedule changes, strikes, service interruptions, or other actions of any Supplier.

We do not guarantee the financial condition, safety, quality, availability, accessibility, performance, suitability, or continued operation of any Supplier or travel component. Any descriptions, ratings, recommendations, photos, amenities, and information we provide may come from Suppliers or other third parties and are believed to be reliable but are not guaranteed.

Force Majeure and Events Beyond Control

Steelman Destinations is not liable for delays, cancellations, changes, losses, damages, injuries, expenses, or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These may include severe weather, natural disasters, fire, flood, pandemic or public-health events, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, government actions, border closures, transportation disruptions, power outages, technical failures, Supplier insolvency, or other force-majeure events.

In these circumstances, refunds, credits, rebooking options, and other remedies are subject to the applicable Supplier’s policies and applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Steelman Destinations and its owners, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits; loss of enjoyment; loss of data; or losses arising from travel arrangements, Supplier services, Website use, booking changes, cancellations, delays, injuries, illness, property loss, or events beyond our control.

Our total liability for any claim relating to our Services will not exceed the amount of fees actually paid directly to Steelman Destinations for the specific Services giving rise to the claim, excluding amounts paid to third-party Suppliers.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited or waived.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Steelman Destinations and its owners, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and representatives from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses—including reasonable attorney fees—arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms.

• Your inaccurate or incomplete information.

• Your violation of law, Supplier terms, or travel requirements.

• Your actions, omissions, conduct, or negligence.

• A claim involving another traveler for whom you made arrangements or accepted these Terms.

Intellectual Property

The Website and its content—including text, branding, logos, graphics, photographs, videos, designs, downloads, itineraries, guides, and other materials—are owned by or licensed to Steelman Destinations and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

​

You may view and use Website content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, display, publish, sell, license, create derivative works from, or exploit Website content without our prior written consent.

Privacy

Your use of the Website and Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at [Privacy Policy Link]. By using the Website or providing information to us, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in that Privacy Policy.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute arising from these Terms, the Website, or our Services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Grand Traverse County, Michigan, unless applicable law requires a different venue or the parties agree in writing to another method of dispute resolution.
